Description
Wild London
After a lifetime spent exploring wildlife across the globe, the world’s most famous naturalist turns his attention closer to home. In Wild London, 100 years old Sir David Attenborough reveals the hidden wildlife of England’s iconic capital: a city he has called home for 75 years and knows like no other. Directed by fellow Londoner Joe Loncraine, who has filmed wildlife on every continent over the past two decades, this is the duo’s fifth collaboration. Together, they uncover the spectacular natural world thriving in one of the world’s busiest cities.
Other Taylor Swift
The Other Taylor Swift is the heart-warming story of an incredible woman and her love for an amazing bird. Every summer, Louise Bentley dedicates herself to hand-rearing fallen swifts, miraculous birds that fly over 3,000 miles from Africa to share our homes. But their numbers are in steep decline, and swifts are now red-listed as endangered. From her home in Bolton, Louise cares for up to 60 birds, giving exhausted adults and fallen chicks a second chance. We follow Babs, Winchester and Taylor as they race to gain enough weight for their return migration. For Louise, releasing each bird back into the wild is a tender, magical moment.
