Description
Young boxer Camille lives with other promising athletes at a prestigious boarding school deep in the woods. After surviving a life-threatening accident in the run-up to an important championship, his body recovers remarkably well, but he continues to suffer from persistent pain. In the macho world of competitive boxing, where psychological vulnerability is taboo, Camille quickly finds his status as the academy's golden boy slipping away. As the pressure mounts, his close friendship with his best friend Matteo is also put to the test.
Wild Foxes is the award-winning feature debut of Valéry Carnoy, an atmospheric coming-of-age drama and unconventional boxing film. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where it received both the Europa Cinemas Label and the SACD Coup de Cœur Award.
