The Christophers

A sparkling black comedy in which the children of elderly artist Julian Sklar (Ian McKellen) hire a forger to complete his unfinished paintings in order to secure their inheritance.

Julian Sklar was once an icon of the London art world. Now he lives in seclusion, surrounded by unfinished canvases. His estranged children want to protect their inheritance and send the young painter and part-time forger Lori to him. She must pose as his assistant and gain access to his legendary series of paintings, The Christophers, which he keeps hidden away in his studio.

The plan is for her to finish the works after his death, allowing them to be sold for a fortune. But what begins as a simple act of deception soon becomes far more complicated…
