Academy Award winner Questlove (Summer of Soul) presents the Dutch premiere of his documentary on the legendary American disco/funk band Earth, Wind & Fire. Spanning decades, the film traces the band's remarkable journey from humble beginnings to their spectacular live shows, complete with groundbreaking pyrotechnics that redefined the concert experience. Rich with unforgettable music, the documentary is a celebration of one of the greatest bands of all time.

Questlove also explores founder Maurice White's fascination with psychedelia and esotericism, revealing how these influences shaped the band's distinctive theatrical style. The film features prominent contributions from band members Philip Bailey, Verdine White, and Ralph Johnson.

Following the screening, there will be a conversation with American-Dutch soul singer Michelle David, who reflects on the profound influence Earth, Wind & Fire has had on her music and career.
