In this heartwarming French film, everyone discovers in their own way what role they can play within a self-made family. By staying open to unexpected connections, the world around us can gain color. Alex (Pio Marmaï) is a young, single father grieving the loss of his wife. His six-year-old son Elliot must adjust to their new home life. Their older neighbor Sandra (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi) runs a feminist bookstore and is very much a loner. Against all odds, they grow attached to one another. But who is she to them?
