Blue Heron

Through the eyes of the youngest sister, Sasha, we are drawn into the fragile dynamics of a Hungarian-Canadian family moving to Vancouver Island. When her brother Jeremy begins to display unexplained and dangerous behavior, the entire family is put on edge. The memories of this period will stay with Sasha for a long time.

Blue Heron beautifully blurs the boundaries between fiction and documentary, telling a deeply personal story by director Sophy Romvari, who, after several short films, makes her long-awaited feature film debut and exceeds all expectations with it.
