Teenage Sophie and her thirty-year-old father, Calum, spend a holiday at a seaside resort in Turkey, where they swim, play pool, sunbathe, and relax. As a whole new world begins to open up for the young adolescent, Calum quietly struggles with the weight of life beyond Sophie's sight. Twenty years later, Sophie's tender memories of that vacation become a powerful and heartbreaking portrait of their relationship, as she tries to understand the darker side of her loving father.
