The Last Viking

Anker is released after a fifteen-year prison sentence. His brother Manfred buried the loot from a bank heist back then and is the only one who knows where it is. Unfortunately, Manfred has developed a mental disorder, causing him to forget everything—one moment he believes he is a Viking, the next the reincarnated John Lennon. With a bloodthirsty rival on their tail, the brothers embark on a race against time, searching both for the money and for themselves.

The Last Viking is the latest darkly comedic film from Danish director and screenwriter Anders Thomas Jensen (Riders of Justice, Adam’s Apples). For this sixth collaboration with his trusted actors, Jensen once again pulls out all the stops, balancing absurdity and heartfelt emotion.
