What Do We See When We Look at the Sky?

Funny, remarkably inventive, and romantic as hell - not just about romance itself, but about everything from youth, football, dogs, and ice cream to the Georgian town of Kutaisi and Cinema-with-a-capital-C - Alexandre Koberidze’s Berlin Competition FIPRESCI prize-winner is fabulous in both the literal and commonplace meanings of the word. Lisa (Oliko Barbakadze and then Ani Karseladze), a pharmacist, and Giorgi (Giorgi Ambroladze and then Giorgi Bochorishvili), a footballer, meet in the street and plan a date. But before they can, we learn they have been cursed: when they wake up the next day, each resembles someone else, making it impossible for one to recognise the other… How can love blossom?
