Description
2000 days in Paradise
This film recounts a unique journey lasting more than 2,000 days in search of wildlife. For 18 years, the Lapieds have been tracking mountain animals in the Gran Paradiso massif. Far from the beaten track, we set off with Véronique, Anne, and Erik on their patient quest to understand the tracks and habits of the masters of this domain. They take us along on their stakeouts and failures, but also on the pure moment of grace that is a long-awaited encounter. Between exceptional animal scenes, poetry, and reflections on the relationship between humans and nature, this true story will bring you closer to the profession of mountain wildlife filmmaker.
Guardians of the forest
Guardians of the Forest is a cinematic wildlife film following a photographer deep into the northern forests, where wolves and bears still move unseen through the trees.
This is not a traditional documentary. It’s a quiet, introspective journey into what it means to photograph wildlife ethically: through patience, stillness, and respect for animals that live far from human noise. Filmed over long days and silent nights, the story unfolds slowly, revealing rare encounters with wolves and bears in one of Europe’s last true wildernesses.
Set within the vast boreal forest, Guardians of the Forest explores solitude, coexistence, and our relationship with the wild world. It’s a film about learning when not to interfere, when to wait, and when to simply observe.
