From 20 to 25 October, the 8th edition of the 013 International Film Festival will take place at Cinecitta.
From 20 to 25 October, the 013 International Film Festival (013IFF) brings international festival winners, filmmakers and live film music to Cinecitta Tilburg. Expect 18 films from 15 countries, from award-winning films from Cannes, Rotterdam and Sundance to remarkable discoveries screening in the Netherlands for the first time.
Every day offers additional insight with introductions, Q&As and special guests. On opening night, Mexican screenwriter Vanesa Garnica will be present for Moscas. Filmkrant journalist Hugo Emmerzael will talk to director Michal Kosakowski about his film Holofiction. The classic Amores Perros will be introduced by film journalist Noa Johannes. Lidewijde Paris will analyse Minotaur as part of Hoe lees ik een film? And to close the festival, Kevin Toma will perform his new live soundtrack for the futuristic masterpiece Metropolis.
Cinecitta has been a leading destination for quality cinema for more than 100 years. Thanks to its central location in the heart of Tilburg, close to the central station, Cinecitta is easily accessible. We look forward to welcoming you.

The 013 International Film Festival (013IFF) once again presents a remarkable selection of films, featuring three major award winners from prestigious film festivals around the world.
Be captivated by Fjord, winner of the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Experience the documentary Variations on a Theme, winner of the Tiger Award in Rotterdam. And discover Cutting Through Rocks, winner of the Best International Documentary Award at the Sundance Film Festival, the top jury prize in the international documentary competition.

AUDIENCE AWARD
In recent years, the festival has grown tremendously and offers a unique selection of films that have often never been screened in Dutch cinemas before. This year, for the first time, we are presenting a large number of award-winning titles from leading international festivals. The 013IFF selection reflects authentic cinema from all corners of the world – stories that dare to speak out and push boundaries. By presenting the Audience Award for Most Popular Film on the closing night, 013IFF highlights one of its core values: increasing the visibility of quality cinema. We invite all film lovers to rate every film and submit their ballot anonymously to one of our valued volunteers!
The winner will be announced on Saturday evening, 24 October, at around 9:00 PM, followed by a festive closing of the film festival!
