Sense and Sensibility

Sense and Sensibility is the captivating new adaptation of Jane Austen’s famous novel, a delightful, witty and highly relatable story about love and the bond between two sisters.

In Georgian England, Elinor and Marianne Dashwood are left in a difficult situation with their mother and youngest sister following the death of their father. The family moves to a modest cottage, where the sisters try to find their way in matters of love and navigate the attention of various suitors.

With Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles as the Dashwood sisters, director Georgia Oakley brings a fresh, contemporary sensibility to Austen’s story. A witty and relatable tale of love, desire, independence, class and the extraordinary strength of the bond between two sisters.
