Description
Seventeen-year-old Fatima is the youngest daughter in a French-Algerian family. As a young woman, she finds herself at a turning point in her life and begins a life-changing, yet often lonely exploration of her sexuality, her faith, and her identity.
In the warm coming-of-age portrait La petite dernière, we follow young adult Fatima through a year of self-discovery. With the end of high school approaching, the lesbian Fatima risks falling into the trap of a heteronormative existence. Dressed in black, she meets women at night under a pseudonym. In doing so, she builds a wall that excludes others—and traps herself. But then she meets the nurse Ji-Na (Park Ji-min from Return to Seoul) and falls in love.
