Description

During Offroad, you can watch the film Wolves on Saturday, April 18 at 4:00 PM. With Wolves, we dive into the raw world of metal: an intense road trip, with concert scenes carried by the Belgian band Amenra. After the screening, there will be a Q&A with Colin van Eeckhout, frontman of Amenra.

Luana, 23, longs to escape her sheltered life. When her cousin Domi introduces her to his black metal band WLVS and their enigmatic new singer Wiktor, she becomes intrigued and joins them on tour. Luana embarks on a turbulent journey of self-discovery, torn between her old and new life, and between Wiktor’s erratic behavior and the growing tensions within the band.

With Wolves, Jonas Ulrich makes his feature film debut. He wrote the screenplay, edited the film himself, and blended fiction with real concert footage. For the concert scenes, he collaborated with existing bands, including the Belgian Amenra, with the fictional band WLVS serving as the opening act.

Please note: this screening has English subtitles.
