This third feature film from Ana Guevara and Leticia Jorge (Tanta agua) is a heartwarming, magical-realist story of mourning and undying friendship. Following her best friend’s death, Adela embarks upon a journey through time, rediscovering joy along the way. At her best friend Elena’s funeral, Adela doesn’t really feel any affinity with the other mourners saying their farewells. The hushed voices, the harsh strip lighting – it’s all so different from the joy Elena used to spread.
