The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry

Harold is an ordinary man who has passed through life, living on the side lines, until he goes to post a letter to his dying friend Queenie one day...and just keeps walking. He has no walking shoes, no map and phone.All he knows is that he has to keep walking, to give Queenie hope and support. Along the way he meets all kinds of people with their own special stories and some even walk with him because they believe in his purpose. The Unlikely Pilgrimage is a story about love, hope, friendship and the little things in life. Jim Broadbent is marvellous, and the supporting cast of tag alongside are funny. This good hearted film ultimately is about loss and pain.
